    Alfredo Muñoz Pellicer Fray.

    Born on April 10 of 1914 in the village of Bellreguart, located in the province of Valencia. He received a thorough Christian education from his family. He entered the Franciscan minor seminary of Benissa, made the simple profession and was sent to the home of religious Onteniente to perform priestly studies.

    A few days prior to the occurrence of the revolution, issued a solemn profession. Highlighted by his kindness, his open mind and cheerful, fidelity to the vocation, mercy, humility and love to work. He took refuge in his parents’ home and reasoned that martyrdom would be his great fortune. Captured around noon on October 4 on the day of the year 1936, feast of St. Francis of Assisi, he was shot a few hours later.
