Witness the Devotion of a New Generation

I know the music is contemporary and many traditionalists will not like it. Still, it captures the Spirit of modern youth and fits with the Holy Father’s them of the Holy Spirit for WYD 2008. When I saw these images I was truly moved.

    Thank you for this impressive video. My music tastes are mostly classical, but I felt the performance was very well done and reverent. The words were all about worshipping the Lord, and sung beautifully in the modern style. Carping and criticism don’t work — I’ve learned this through painful experience — but reverence and good musicianship, found in many genres, does. God bless the young people of Australia!

    I wish my kids could have been there. They are a tad too young, though, and we couldn’t have afforded the airfare anyway. Maybe they can make it to Madrid in 2011!
