Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door. by Emma Lazarus.
Some apparent jihadist wannabes stole a replica of the Statue of Liberty from a coffee shop in Brooklyn, and in a sick parody of terrorist assassination videos, blindfolded her, cut her head off and smashed it.
The date was July 4th and their slogans include the traditional “Death to America” and the redundant “We don’t want your freedom.”
No criminal acts or protests are necessary. If you don’t want our freedom, you’re free to leave the country. Really. What you’re not free to do is impede our freedom or transform our inefficient democracy into a theocracy.

My book, Immigration: Here They Are, Ready or Not, is due to be published by Amazon.com (yes, they are in the publishing business now!) hopefully in the next six months. I am still fishing for art (allowed ten interior photos). Despite Amazon’s great wealth, I am responsible for interior and cover art, so I’m always looking for freebies. Of course I honor copyright notice, but that’s about all I can do.
Please notify me if this is really free and how I can obtain an image large enough to work with that is 300 dpi or greater.
thanx good information
