2,000 new Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches by 2017?
The thought occurs to me, how will the LCMS staff these 2000 parishes? Do they really have that many in seminary or available?

Well, they will be small parishes. They are going to buy up a lot of foreclosed homes….
I am wondering if the ELCA’s departing parishes will be considering the MSLC as a destination. They are about 5 years behind the Episcopal denomination in their “progressiveness” so they don’t get the column inches and the pixels that TEC does… But every year for the past several, ELCA congregations have been withdrawing from the ELCA.
