Blessed Morató Dario Hernandez, Born in the Oct. 25, 1880 and baptized the same day in the parish of St. Peter the Apostle. In 1889 he entered the College of St. Joseph, the Jesuits in Valencia. He entered the Society of Jesus on Sept. 28 at the novitiate in Zaragoza. He suffered martyrdom for confessing his faith in Jesus Christ and his membership in the Church on Sept. 29, 1936 in the arena of Paterna. The year 2001 he was beatified by John Paul II, on March 11 in St. Peter’s Square in Rome.

God and our Lord, who loved to Blessed with a predilection Morató Dario Hernandez, a priest, making him involved in your Cross with the shedding of his blood. Make the triumph of his martyrdom help us to achieve holiness in our lives, amándote on all things and neighbor as ourselves, and we may well after alabarte and glorificarte for eternity in heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
