Herminia Martinez Friend (Puzol, July 31, 1887 – Gilet, September 26, 1936) was a martyr Catholic, who died during the Spanish Civil War. In her public displays of religiosity, was murdered along with her husband and beatified by Pope John Paul II on March 11, 2001. Her feast is celebrated on September 22.
Se made numerous charitable works and was very generous. She was well fed with a spirituality of the Eucharist and love for the Virgin.
